How It Works

1. Pick Your Slot‍ ‍Choose the dates that work for you through our Book Now section. Bookings available from 1 - 14 days with 2 nights minimum required on weekends.

2. We Deliver We tow the sauna to your chosen location in Southern AB. Delivery is free within our local delivery area between Crowsnest Pass, Castle Mountain Resort, Pincher Creek, and everywhere in between. Delivery beyond that area is available for $1.25/km. Premium Birch firewood is complementary.

3. You Unplug Sweat it out, cool off, repeat. We handle the rest — you just show up.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Full access to the wood-fired sauna

    • Enough premium birch firewood for 3+ hours of burning per day

    • A bucket and ladle to make steam (löyly)

    • Delivery, setup, and a welcome guide outlining safe operation instructions

    • Two towels - one to sit on and one to dry off with or use under your feet

    • Plenty of water

    • Optionally, a robe or layers for stepping outside between rounds

    • A willingness to slow down and relax

  • Our sauna trailers require around 10’ x 16’ of space and a relatively flat/level surface for parking with clearance around the sauna and chimney. We’ll help determine whether your location is suitable before delivery.

    All units require electricity for lighting. Chinook Sauna will provide the extension cord and Customer will provide access to an external outlet or generator. For wilderness or off-grid locations, we may provide a different method of lighting.

  • We’re based in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, and deliver throughout the surrounding area. Delivery is free within our designated local zone (which includes Castle Mountain Resort and Pincher Creek) with an additional mileage charge for locations farther away. If you’d like delivery outside of our local zone, give us a call to confirm we can accommodate.

  • Potentially! You’ll need permission from the property owner or campground and the location must meet our delivery and safety requirements. Reach out and we can help determine what’s possible.

  • No. For safety and insurance reasons, the sauna must remain in its designated location throughout your rental. If you have questions about placement, we’re happy to help before delivery.

Who We Are

Chinook Sauna is proudly operated by Tyler and Ellie through a division of White Spruce Carpentry Ltd. We're your neighbors, not a franchise: a small, family-run business built right here in the Crowsnest Pass.

Tyler, a Journeyman Carpenter and a CNP firefighter, hand-builds our saunas from the ground up, drawing on 20+ years of carpentry experience to get every detail right. It started as a passion project for our own family and now we're excited to share it with our neighbours across Southern Alberta and BC.

Our name is a nod to the Chinook winds that bring welcome warmth to the western prairies and eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains.
